The Team One Fitness Rapid Shred is a 15 day program designed to provide maximum fat loss results in a short period. It is highly effective when followed step by step, requiring significant dedication to the strict nutrition and fitness program to achieve the best results.
To make it very clear, this program is not a sustainable and long-term program for weight loss. It should only be undertaken for this short period, to kick start fat loss and give you a ‘big win’ in 2 weeks, to motivate you to continue to reach your health and fitness goals with a less intense and more sustainable nutrition and fitness plan.
This highly effective and challenging program consists of 3 phases: the build up, the commitment and the home stretch. Phase 2, the commitment phase, is the extreme element of the program, requiring a high level of physical and mental commitment in order to achieve the full benefits.
Don’t be put off if this sounds too extreme or if you have any injuries or dietary issues. Together we can modify the targets to suit individual abilities, taking into consideration your personal circumstances to ensure your goal is safely achievable.
Based on a point system for food and exercise, you will be given individual targets based on your height, weight and BMI, for each of the three phases.
The individual tailored approach is required due to our individual calorific needs, to ensure your ‘weight-loss’ will be pure fat – not water weight or muscle.
You can lose up to 3.5kg of pure fat during the commitment phase and up to 6kg during the full 15 days.
Team One Fitness is well known for its Bondi Beach Super Shred Workouts, this program will include 3 Super Shred workouts (at the start, the middle and the end). Our Super Shred workouts take 1.5 to 2 hours and are high intensity, designed to burn maximum calories. They are challenging, involve a lot of teamwork, and last but not least are a lot of fun!
In the Commitment Phase we will be ramping things up with additional face to face evening Cross training and Zoom workouts. You will also receive a catalogue of points-based recorded Zoom workouts to enable you to boost your daily exercise points at home.

Do I have to be fit to join Team One Fitness sessions?
Our classes have a high intensity level but are designed so that everyone can work at their own pace and level regardless of their fitness levels.
What if I don't feel fit enough to manage the commitment phase?
The commitment phase is challenging but don’t let this put you off. Together we can modify the targets to suit individual abilities and taking into consideration any injuries or dietary issues you may have.
What do I have to bring to the session?
Always bring your trainers for the Super Shred Saturday classes. From spring onwards most people train with bare feet on the beach. Wear comfortable work out gear and bring some water. In sunny weather we recommend you apply sunscreen and wear a hat. If you need to bring something else we will let you know on our Whatsapp group.
Will sessions be cancelled due to bad weather?
We love to operate rain, hail or shine! In the event of extreme weather conditions, we will cancel sessions and notify you. I’ve only cancelled 3 classes in the past 10 years due to severe lightning and so the chances are very small!
Is The Rapid Shred just a weight loss challenge?
Although the focus is definitely fat loss, people often join focus on fitness, strength, building muscle and boosting their confidence and self-esteem.
When does the challenge start?
The Challenge kicks-off Saturday 15 July 2023! Registration closes on 11 July! This will give me time to work out everyone’s daily protein target and send out all the information you’ll need.
Can I physically prepare myself for the Rapid Shred?
Yes, for sure! Try and get into the mindset of doing something active every day. During the Build Up and the Home Stretch Phase you’ll be working out every day. During the Commitment Phase you’ll be doing multiple workouts/activities per day, depending on what exercise point target you decide to go for (Shred, Badass or Beast Mode. The Rapid Shred Guide will explain all of this in detail.
Can I mentally prepare myself for the Rapid Shred?
Absolutely! As I mentioned earlier, the Rapid Shred is challenging! Having the right mindset will be crucial to achieve maximum results. Give yourself enough time to understand how the exercise and diet plan works. Make sure you to get rid of tempting food that might make it harder to stick to the plan, and plan ahead by stocking up on the food specified in the plan. You’ll be weighing your food and so make sure you have a kitchen scale.
Can I decide when I do The Commitment Phase and do it at a different time than everyone else?
Yes you could, although I wouldn’t recommend it. Doing the Commitment phase at the same time as everyone else will keep you more motivated and accountable!
What if I can't make it to some of the Super Shred Saturday or Rapid Shred evening classes?
We all have busy lives and it wouldn’t be unusual if you miss some of the workouts. The whole idea is that you’ll be burning as many calories as possible and joining the classes will help to get to your targets. On the other hand, you don’t need to do these classes and can still get great results doing your own training (as long as you can push yourself to the required level)! In other words, if you nail the diet component and get your training in, you’ll do well!

If this is the case, I’m definitely happy to help you out if I can. Just get in touch and I’m happy to lend you some equipment.
Do you have any other tips?
Don’t have too many social plans during the Rapid Shred, mainly during the Commitment Phase. The Commitment Phase only lasts 4 to 6 days but is very strict and so the less distractions you have, the easier it will be to have an awesome outcome! Don’t be soft on yourself! 🙂
