Being woken from your slumber at 5.15am on a Monday morning when it’s still dark and chilly, is not always the most welcoming start of the week. Pressing snooze a few times can be very tempting and deciding to stay in bed, even more tempting! Well, here are a few reasons why it is good to get your butt of bed and Never miss a Monday training session.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You’ll feel better and happier<\/h3>\n

Every single Monday I see people rocking up to our Bondi<\/a> or Coogee<\/a> morning session with a ‘tired, I would rather be in bed’ face. This is even more so in the winter months. 45 minutes later, every single one of them, walks off with a smile on their face (including me)!
\nAs research shows, exercising releases endorphins and will make you feel better. There is nothing better (well nearly nothing) than the positive vibes that flow though your brain and body after doing a great session.
\nStudies say that the average office worker only cracks their first smile at 11.15am. Why not crack it at 6am? You’ll be 5 hours and 15 minutes ahead of the average Joe!<\/p>\n

More likely to work out for the rest of the week<\/h3>\n

Training on a Monday often sets the workout regime for the rest of the week. It gets the ball rolling and sets you up for feeling motivated<\/a> for the following four\/five days of exercise.<\/p>\n

Reduce anxious thoughts<\/h3>\n

Do you sometimes feel anxious, particularly on a Monday morning? This is not\u00a0uncommon as many people struggle with this Monday morning\u00a0phenomenon. Thinking about the\u00a0work load which is waiting for you can make you feel anxious.
\nStudies have shown that exercising and mainly aerobic exercises will reduce your anxiety levels. Also interesting to\u00a0note is that high intensity training will reduce your anxiety sensitivity or in\u00a0 other words the fear\u00a0of anxiety which often comes before panic attacks.<\/p>\n
