I absolutely love working out on the beach! Coming down to our early morning Bondi or Coogee bootcamp sessions is a very inspiring thing to do. Even if it is\u00a0just to soak up the active lifestyle. Outdoor training in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs has become very popular. At 6am our beaches are getting filled with lots of people who are doing bootcamp, personal training, walking, running, surfing, …\u00a0you name it!<\/p>\n

Although\u00a0Exercising on the soft sand is great, it is equally challenging. This means that you need to give yourself some time to get used it.<\/p>\n

Better for your joints<\/h3>\n

Landing on soft sand\u00a0results in the fact that the\u00a0overall stress and impact on your lower joints is a lot lower. On top of this, running on soft sand gives your calf muscles a great workout without the risk of any impact injuries. It can also reduce the risk of shin splints.<\/p>\n

You’ll burn up to 30% more calories<\/h3>\n

Training on the beach will definitely add some intensity to your training. Each strike or movement that you do, your feet sink in the sand. This forces you to exert more energy than you would on\u00a0hard surface. <\/span>Training on a beach can\u00a0help you burn up 30% more calories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are very fortunate and\u00a0should be very grateful to be able to train at Coogee and Bondi Beach. Training on the beach while watching the sunrise, has a lot more to offer than running on a treadmill while looking at a television screen.<\/p>\n
