Do you want to be more productive at work? Would you like to have more quality time with your family or do you want to feel more energised? If the answer is YES and I think we all wouldn’t mind to have a bit or all of the above, then exercising is the answer.

Being physically and healthy offers us a lot more benefits then most people think. Here are 9 facts why to get out of bed at 5.30am and break into a sweat.

Increasing energy levels

You will be surprised how kicking off the day with a workout will change your whole day to come. Exercising releases endorphins and ones they are released in the bloodstream, you will enjoy the benefits throughout the rest of the day.

Some people say “I’m too tired to exercise”. Well, when starting a fitness program you might feel more tired but ones your body is used to it you will feel more energised.

Another important thing to remember is that an improved fitness level will make daily tasks such as carrying shopping bags, walking up the hill or stairs easier. You will be more energised for the rest of the day.

Lower stress levels

Exercising is a positive distraction from all those stressful things in your life. You will notice, once you start exercising you will feel less stress in every part of your life.

Being more productive

Exercising doesn’t only improve your body but it also improves your mental function. Exercising increased energy levels and the production of serotonin in the brains, which lead to clarity in the Brain. People that exercise are said to be more productive at work.

Finding time to exercise

Life is busy and it is not always easy to find time to exercise. Don’t let this be your excuse and be rather smart about it. Planning is very important but also think about ways to turn passive time into active time. Do active things with the kids, ride your bike to work rather then sitting on a packed bus.

Do High Intensity Training and get lots of results in minimum time. We can all find 15 to 20 min to do a quick workout.

Staying away from diseases

Exercising prevents or slows down: heart deceases, high blood pressure, arthritis, Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis. It also slows down the aging process and boosts our immune system.

Building relationships

Exercising has a positive effect on relationships. Think about training with your partner, sibling, friend or just an old school friend. Training with someone will make you get the results you want faster.

Boosting your performance

Training consistent will strengthen your muscles, increase your flexibility and increase your performance. Suddenly a game of tennis or golf will go better than before. Other important things to think about are improved balance, reaction time and coordination.

Working the heart

Exercising creates a strong heart which is your most important muscle in the body. Your heart and cardio vascular system will function better and your heart will pump more effectively. This means it can pump more blood at once which means it has to work less hard to do a certain activity. Your resting heart rate will go down.

Weight loss but don’t make this number one goal

For 90% of the people that train weight loss is the number one goal. Although looking good, a healthy weight and BMI is important, don’t get too caught up in the whole weight loss thing. Think about the big picture and all the other (often more important) benefits that exercising gives you.

Strive to have more energy, less stress, feel better and simply have more quality in daily life.
